Hi, I’m Alisha Anderson – an empty nester, entrepreneur, musician, and firm believer that life is richest when shared with those you love.
Family is everything to me. There’s nothing I love more than gathering around the table – sharing a meal, heartfelt conversations, and laughter that lingers long after the plates are cleared. For 27 years, I’ve been married to my best friend, and together we’ve had the incredible privilege of raising two amazing, now adult, children.
In recent years, my health journey has been transformative. I’ve walked through the highs and lows, learned, grown, and even lost 100 pounds along the way. But more than losing weight, I found freedom – freedom from the things that held me back from fully embracing life. That passion now flows into everything I do, whether in health, music, relationships, or the way I cultivate our home.
Faith is the foundation of my life. Jesus is my joy, my purpose, and the reason I’m so passionate about helping others find clarity, healing, and transformation in their own lives.
Hospitality has always been woven into who I am. I love opening my home, creating a space where people don’t just visit—they feel at home. There’s something powerful about welcoming others in, sharing a meal, and fostering conversations that bring comfort, laughter, and connection. That passion led me to write The Lost Art of Hospitality—a guide filled with practical ways to build meaningful relationships through the simple, yet profound, act of welcoming others into our lives. Because to me, hospitality isn’t about impressing people—it’s about making them feel like they belong.
At the core of it all, I care deeply about relationships—the kind where people feel truly seen, known, and free to be themselves. That’s what led my husband and me to create The Home Project, a podcast and platform dedicated to helping others build authentic home life and lasting connections. Through honest conversations, practical resources, and shared experiences, we hope to inspire others to create homes filled with love, purpose, and belonging.
So, welcome to my part of the world—I’m so glad you’re here.
